ABOUT ANNE GRASS
Specialist Teacher & Assessor of Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and certified provider of the QbCheck ADHD assessment.
I have over 28 years experience as a primary school teacher and have taught in mainstream and SEND schools in inner city London, East Cheshire and Hertfordshire. During this time I've worked as a Deputy Headteacher, Inclusion Manager, SENDCO, Lead Behaviour Professional, SEND Expert, Specialist Leader of Education (SEND) and Head of Learning Support in an independent school. It was working in SEND schools that started my interest, and passion, for managing and teaching SEND children and children who were not reaching their full potential. This interest inspired me to complete a Masters in Teaching, basing my studies on SEND pupils. I have also completed the National Award in SEND Co-ordination along with a PGCert in SpLD (dyslexia). I am a Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA) and the Professional Association for teachers and assessors of students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS). Most recently, I have become a certified provider of the QbCheck ADHD screening assessment.

QbCheck - ADHD Screening
QbCheck is an online ADHD screening test that supports early identification, assessment and treatment of ADHD, for individuals aged 7+ years old.
It is a computer-based test that objectively measures the core signs of ADHD: Hyperactivity, Impulsivity and Inattention. Please note this is not a formal diagnosis. An ADHD diagnosis can only be made by a qualified medical professional who conducts a thorough assessment.
Test & Report: £200

Diagnostic Dyslexia Assessment
A diagnostic assessment is the only way to really understand if a child/pupil is dyslexic as well as identifying a clearer picture of the young person’s strengths and weaknesses and their individual cognitive profile. I use a variety of assessment measures with the process normally taking around 3 hours. The report will be sent through to you
within 7 to 10 working days.
Assessment & Report: £600

Specialist Dyslexia Tuition
Children with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) need a multi-sensory, structured approach to teaching; they also need a teaching programme which is going to teach them how they can become independent learners. I ensure that all the lessons planned and taught are personalised to the individual child. They normally last one hour, but I would be happy to discuss this with you.
